Healthy Living Tools

Updated: Jul 7, 2021

Did you know that along with my Integrative Energy Healing practice, I am an Independent Consultant and District Manager with Arbonne?

For those who haven’t heard of Arbonne, it is a health and wellness company that believes in a holistic approach to beauty, health and wellbeing, focusing on the whole person to help them flourish inside and out.

Why does it resonate with me? It’s like my Integrative Energy Healing practice, it’s about the whole person, not just one facet.

In a recent post, I talked about not having a magic wand, but a toolbox of tools to help myself and my clients reach their goals, which often leads them to feeling better on the inside…whether they realize it at the time or not.

One of those external “tools” for me personally, has been Arbonne. It has helped me discover a healthier way of living – mind, body, spirit, and skin!

“Healthy” is different for everyone, there’s no “one size fits all” and there’s no permanent quick fix. We all have probably tried multiple times, with a diet, exercise routine, and even a skin care routine that haven’t worked. Quick fixes just don’t work, because you haven’t done the work. You haven’t fixed what has made you heavy, figuratively and literally, and stressed it out.

“Healthy” is how you feel on the inside, at this moment, not what you look like on the outside or the number on the scale. Healthy is about…

  • Listening to your body and feeding it the water, food, and nutrients it needs and when it needs it.

  • Resting your body and mind to be refreshed and rejuvenated.

  • Moving your body, the way you feel it needs, not being as stringent as someone else thinks you should be.

  • Dealing with the stress and emotions that comes up in your day and not ignoring it. (Side note: for me stressful and emotional times in my life are when I “hold on” to the weight. When I shed the emotions and stress, my body relaxes and sheds what it no longer needs. It’s not that I don’t have stressful or emotional times now, I’ve learned over time how to work with them instead against.)

  • Connecting with others – we are social beings and connecting with others, is key to your health too! This is especially important right now….so set-up social distancing or Zoom coffee dates with friends or a virtual game night with family.

What the above looks like is different for each person and may change day to day. So, PLEASE, stop comparing yourself to your neighbors, your friends, family, and others on social media. You are a unique individual that requires something different from the next person.

In the end, it is about loving yourself, your WHOLE self and putting you first. Knowing that the time, money, and work you put into “it” is totally worth it in the end. Trust me, it can take time, but it is SO worth it!!

If you want to learn more and discover what healthy could look like for you, feel free to DM me. There’s nothing more that I love to do than help others with self-discovery – mind, body, and spirit!
